Sunday afternoons, 3:30-5:00 p.m., September 13-December 6, 2026
During this 12-week course, participants will work on generative writing exercises, as well as edit existing drafts, centered around the topics in Good Writing. We will cover style and usage, as well as elements of craft, such as point of view, voice, and characterization. Participants will give a reading at Bear’s Books on Thursday, December 10th at 6:30 p.m. as the culmination of the course.

Instructor Bio:
Margaret Harrington holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Spalding University. She has taught courses in fiction and creative nonfiction at Mercer University. She is the owner of Bear’s Books. Harrington is currently working on a collection of short fiction and essays entitled Exit Seeking.
